Life At The Ulearn International Campus

The Ulearn International Campus, nestled in the city of Nanchang, is a safe and dynamic learning environment. The campus highlights several different styles of architecture, ranging anywhere from traditional Chinese to French-style buildings that celebrate and emphasize the diversity of the campus population.

Accommodations

The Ulearn International Campus has two types of housing. The 4 person dorms on campus are both spacious and comfortable, and the price is conveniently included in the tuition. Ulearn also provides the option of a 2 person Suite, a hotel-style living arrangement which is subject to additional fees. Dining

The Ulearn International Campus has top notch chefs that provide a wide range of both Western and Chinese cuisine. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided every day for all program participants. For the adventurous, there are also many delicious local eateries around campus that provide a taste of the local, traditional cuisine of Jiangxi Province, which is rich and distinctive.

A Typical Weekday as a Program Participant

Breakfast
8am to 12noon: Study Chinese language curriculum with our distinguished teaching faculty
12noon to 2pm: Lunch break and free time
2pm to 5pm: Optional activity period with countless possibilities and opportunities. Teach English at a local K-12 Chinese school; organized group activity; short excursion; etc.
Dinner

Weekends and Holidays

Ulearn International actively organizes excursions during weekends and holidays that program participants are welcome to take part in. We strongly encourage our program participants to travel and apply their learning in China through these trips, and we are more than willing to take suggestions for sight-seeing destinations based on participants’ ideas and wishes. Ulearn will arrange all transportation, tickets, accommodations, etc. for these weekend and holiday trips, free of charge for all participants as an added benefit of the program. This creates a wonderful opportunity to both explore Nanchang City and Jiangxi Province, and to interact with native Chinese-speakers in a real world setting.
